At itβs core, Mnesia is a real-time, distributed database built into the BEAM. I encourage reading the docs for a deeper understanding.
Mnesia is a great fit for Elixir applications with data that needs:
- Atomic transactions
- Disk persistence (Mnesia can store data in-memory, on-disk or both)
- Replication between nodes
The following tips assume that you have some experience with Mnesia already.
