I quickly embraced its built-in tutorial to grasp the essentials, and beyond the initial learning curve, I found myself navigating it faster than I ever did with VS Code.
Helixβs integration with Language Servers transformed my Markdown and Astro workflow, adding useful features like syntax highlighting and code completion. By setting up tools like
marksmanfor Markdown, I could harness Helix's capabilities while avoiding the overwhelming customization often associated with editors like vim. In just a few weeks, Helix became my go-to editor, capturing the benefits of automation while fostering independence from monopolistic tech giants.
