🔗 The Case for Rust on the Web

Mainmatter made a strategic bet on Rust for the web in the last year. Our goal is to guide teams during the process of adopting Rust in web environments and we're on our way towards reaching that goal: we started the EuroRust conference, we joined the Rust Foundation, we hired Rust expert and author Luca Palmieri as our Principal Engineering Consultant and are working on a number of Rust projects internally as well as in the open source space.

In this post, I want to share why we're confident taking that bet and why we believe Rust has a great future ahead of it in the web and cloud space.
